Any combination of these will help to slow down the effects of diarrhea. You can give your baby mashed bananas or pieces, applesauce or soft steamed apples too. If you’re not giving your little one grains yet, skip the rice or toast. Plain rice cereal or a big piece of toast they can gnaw on are good options. Keep an eye on baby when you give them a big piece of food to chew on, you never know when a piece will come off!
